I’m actually new to aqw development (started a week ago). However I was able to make nythera files work. It’s using code igniter framework, php version 7.4.13, and mariaDB 10.4.12. So basically you need to learn how to setup code igniter (php framework). For the emulator, you need java SE 8 same as most tutorial found in youtube. Also you need swf decompilers to edit action scripts from loaders and game swf since it’s currently redirected to nythera domain. That’s how I managed to make the server run locally.

Alphaaaa If you just want to make the files work, simple reverse engineering can be done. But if you want to modify the client / emulator. Definitely you need the original files or you can decompile it (if it’s not obfuscated). I was looking for source code both client and emulator since I wanted to include new changes on emulator and client with my customized modules.

Alphaaaa ooh both client and emulator? noiceee, mind share it to me? I’m too lazy to decompile the files. Currently I’m tinkering mystic project source (found it also in this forum) problem is that there’s no sql file attached so I just reused nythera sql (did some adjustments since both have different db relations and columns).
